This album from the 70's features Nayyara Noor singing in Urdu, the poetry of Faiz Ahmad Faiz. Biographical summaries of both can be found in Wikipedia articles on the internet. The music is esoteric, but no more so than many alt groups. The sound and production qualities are top rate. A beautiful piece of musical art.
